The Story of Laugh for Lungs™

COVID is not just a news article for me. I have seen someone deteriorate in front of my eyes firsthand. You see COVID on the news screen, but it is not until it invades your own home that you realize the extent of the disease. My grandfather was the most active, and healthy person of his age. If someone had told me he would be the first to go, I would have laughed in disbelief. I watched my grandfather deal with the aftermath of COVID and slowly leave us. He would struggle to just walk 5 steps forward and simply going to the bathroom became a life-or-death situation. In his last breaths he told us he was just so tired and could not do it anymore.  This experience made me realize that inaction was not an option, and I need to help people focus on their lung health.  I wanted to create a program dedicated to my grandfather's memory.
